This song takes me back to my Freshman Year at Florida State. I absolutely loved/still love Lifehouse and had this song on repeat for most of the year. Such great memories of driving down Tennessee Street blaring this on the stereo and singing at the top of my lungs. I am pretty sure people were staring but who cares.
I actually heard this again I believe during the last season of Dancing with the Stars, or maybe the season before. This was the first song that I ever did a cheer routine too for a competition. I was five. Pretty sure this was a huge hit in the 80's. I remember getting in a big circle at one point and doing the "locomotion" during the routine. It was my first taste of any type of competition and I loved it.
Just my ALL TIME favorite song is all. Seriously, anytime this comes on or I hear it I stop what I'm doing and start singing. Not just normal singing but close your eyes, swing your hair and belt it out singing. Yes, I love this.
Ok so when I was much, much younger I remember road trips with my Mom. This song always seemed to be playing during those years and I can always remember sitting in the back of the car singing to Bon Jovi and watching the scenery go by.
Loved Jon B. and Tupac. This entire CD was on replay for most of my high school years. So many memories come back listening to this.
