Week 35 Update

How your baby's growing:

Your baby doesn't have much room to maneuver now that he's over 18 inches long and tips the scales at 5 1/4 pounds (pick up a honeydew melon). Because it's so snug in your womb, he isn't likely to be doing somersaults anymore, but the number of times he kicks should remain about the same. His kidneys are fully developed now, and his liver can process some waste products. Most of his basic physical development is now complete — he'll spend the next few weeks putting on weight.

Stats:
How far along: 35 weeks
Sleep: HaHa.  What sleep?  I can only get about 2 or 3 hours at a time now.  Then I have to get up and move around for a little while before trying to go back to sleep.  It's definitely starting to be a process.
Maternity Clothes:  Yes and even some of those are starting to get snug. Mostly, my shirts are starting to get too short since my belly has continued to expand.
Food Cravings:  Pizza AGAIN.  I could eat it everyday.  And Mexican AGAIN.
Food aversions: Red Meat
Symptoms I have: My feet are swollen by the end of the day.  I definitely can feel my ligaments stretching sometimes in my lower abdomen and near my hips.  There are some other definite pregnancy symptoms that I have but not going into the details of those.  It would be a definite TMI situation.
Doctor's Appointment:  Wednesday, February 29 (Leap Day) at 8:30am.  They will do a biophysical on Brandon and we will get to see how big he is now.  I am guessing right at about 6.5 lbs which is about a pound more than average.  We shall see.  I am hoping Nick will be able to go to this appointment since the ultrasound will be pretty long.  He hasn't been able to go with me since we found out we were having a boy.
Movement:  Yes.  He isn't doing too much kicking these days since he is probably pretty cramped but he does stretch out a lot.  I get a lot of knees to the ribs and his butt pushes out all the time.
Belly Button:  Still and innie :)
What Else?:  Not a whole heck of a lot going on right now.  I have been able to wash just about everything that Brandon will wear or lay in.  The room is coming together nicely.  We still need to go and pick up the recliner but since its been raining pretty much everyday we decided to wait until the weather clears up some (the last thing I want is my brand new leather recliner getting wet).

There are only a few more things we need to buy before Brandon arrives.  We have enough diapers to last us the first 2 months which is nice to know (I calculated this based on 10-12 diaper changes a day).    I have organized and put away everything that I can in his room and throughout the house to make my life a little easier once Brandon is here.

I should be able to post some new ultrasound pictures on Wednesday after my doctor's appointment.  Here's hoping he lets us get a good look at his face :)
